How it goes on

Fitting and washing guide

Measure arm to arm
Measure the full width, outside arm to outside arm. Between two sizes? Take the larger one; the extra fabric tucks into the seat gaps.
Start at the back label
Put the labeled side over the back of the sofa, then stretch the cover evenly over both arms and line up the seams.
Tuck in the foam sticks
If your cover comes with foam sticks, push them into the gaps between the seat and the frame to hold it in place.

Before you buy

Which cover to buy

Will it fit my couch?

Stretch covers fit upholstered couches with padded arms, a defined back and gaps around the seat to tuck into. Check your arm-to-arm width in the size table, then the size options on the product page, since each cover lists its own sizes.

Which side is my chaise on?

Stand in front of the sofa, facing it. Long seat on your left: left-facing. On your right: right-facing.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash on a gentle cycle with similar colors, at 86°F (30°C) or cold, as the care line on the product page says. Some covers can tumble dry low, others line or air dry. Refit it only when it's fully dry, and don't use bleach.

Is it waterproof or pet-proof?

Most of our stretch covers are not: they're washable layers for everyday life, not a barrier against spills or sharp claws. For spills, choose a cover marked waterproof, such as The Waterproof L-Shape Sectional Cover, and see our dog couch covers for pets. Blot spills quickly and keep claws trimmed.

How long does delivery take?

Each product page and the checkout show the estimated delivery time for your country. Delivery costs $6.95, or nothing on orders of $49 or more.

What if it doesn't fit?

Request a return within 30 days of delivery, then send it back within 14 days. Try it on a clean sofa, keep the packaging, and return it unwashed and free of pet hair.

What's in the box?

The cover, plus foam sticks with many sofa and sectional covers; each product page lists what's in the box. Some sectional covers fit one section each, so an L-shaped sofa needs 2.
