The Embroidered Plush Pumpkin Pillow Cover

What it is

This is a single throw pillow cover made from a polyester and cotton knit with a soft faux wool plush face. The pattern is embroidered, not printed, so the pumpkin or ghost sits raised above the surface and catches the light.

The cover is built for fall and Halloween rooms. It works on a couch, a sofa, a bench or a reading chair, and it layers well with solid throws and other pillow covers you already own.

Size and fit

The cover is made for one square cushion. Check your insert before you order.

The listed size is 18 x 18 in (17.5 x 17.5 in), 1 pack. One cover fits one cushion. The insert is not included, so you will need a pillow of your own to fill it.

Styles

Six styles are available:

The white and cream styles read as quiet fall decor and can stay out past October. The orange styles lean into Halloween. Because the design is embroidered, the raised stitching gives each one a handmade look.

How to use it

Slide your 18 x 18 in (45 x 45 cm) insert into the cover and close it. Fluff the cushion and pat the embroidered face flat so the raised pattern sits evenly. On a sofa, two covers in the same style make a matched pair, and two different styles, such as a pumpkin and the ghost, give a mixed look.

For a fall room, pair this cover with a warm throw blanket on the arm of the couch. For Halloween, group the orange jack-o-lantern with the white ghost. The plush face is soft against the skin, so it also works on a bed or a window seat.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle, then air dry. Air drying keeps the plush surface soft and the raised pattern in shape.
