The twill is woven into the knit rather than printed on, so the fine diagonal lines run through the whole cover. On a couch that gets sat on every day, that texture breaks up lint, crumbs and pet hair, and it hides the soft creases any stretch cover picks up where people sit most. The fabric is a mid-weight polyester jacquard with plenty of give, and an elastic edge closes underneath the cushion so the cover stays put when you sit down or get up.
Each cover fits one cushion, so you can dress the whole couch or only the seats that need it. Many people start with the seat cushions and add back cushion covers once they've seen the color in their own room.
Measure the cushion itself, not the couch: the length across the front, the depth from front to back and the height of the side. Standard sizes fit cushions 18 to 24 in (45 to 60 cm) deep. Deep sizes fit cushions 26 to 35 in (65 to 90 cm) deep, as found on lounge sofas and modular sectionals. Every size takes cushions 2 to 8 in (5 to 20 cm) tall.

| 3 seats | 49 to 65 in (125 to 165 cm) | 18 to 24 in (45 to 60 cm) |
| 4 seats | 65 to 79 in (165 to 200 cm) | 18 to 24 in (45 to 60 cm) |

The size charts in the photos call the deep sizes Plus. When a measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger size for a firm cushion and the smaller one for a soft cushion that gives a little.
There are 14 colors: Light Gray, Charcoal, Black, Cream, Sand, Coffee, Sage, Teal, Denim Blue, Navy, Dusty Pink, Red, Orange and Yellow. The neutrals suit most fabric couches and hide wear best, while Teal, Red, Orange and Yellow give a plain couch a new look for far less than a new sofa. The twill catches the light, so each color shows a gentle two-tone effect up close. The photos are taken in daylight, and warm evening light makes most shades look a touch warmer.
Pull the cover over the two front corners first, then stretch it around the back corners and let the elastic close under the cushion. Smooth the top from the middle out to the sides. On a long bench cushion, work from one end to the other so the twill lines run straight. If the cushion has a zip, turn it to the back before you start.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, without bleach or fabric softener, and air dry. Skip the dryer to protect the elastic. Put the cover back on while it's slightly damp and it settles to the shape of the cushion as it dries.
One cover in the size and color you choose, so order one per cushion. Delivery is $6.95, free on orders from $49, and you have 30 days to send it back if the fit isn't right.
One per cushion. Three separate seat cushions take three 1 seat covers, while one long bench cushion takes a single cover sized for its length, such as 3 seats for a cushion 49 to 65 in (125 to 165 cm) long. Loose back cushions each need a back cushion cover.
Choose a Deep size. Standard sizes fit cushions 18 to 24 in (45 to 60 cm) deep and Deep sizes fit 26 to 35 in (65 to 90 cm). Then match the length: a cushion 28 in deep and 60 in (152 cm) long takes Deep 3 seats.
Yes, but softly. On Black, Navy and Coffee the twill reads as a subtle texture up close and looks almost solid from across the room. Light Gray, Sand and Sage show the diagonal lines most clearly.
The elastic edge closes under the cushion and holds the cover in place, and the twill adds a little grip. A cover that is too big for the cushion can shift, so measure the depth as carefully as the length.
