What this recliner cover is

The Ribbed Knit Recliner Cover is a stretch cover set made from 100 percent polyester knit jacquard. The fabric has a fine ribbed pattern and a soft hand, and it gives enough stretch to pull over the arms, back and footrest of a recliner. Each set comes with 4 cover pieces, so the whole chair can be covered section by section.

This is a fitted cover, not a loose throw. The knit holds its shape against the chair through everyday sitting and reclining. It works in a living room, a home office or a den, and it is a simple way to refresh a chair without replacing it.

Sizes and fit

One size is offered, and it is made for a single recliner. Check your chair against these measurements before you order.

Size name: 1 seater (4 pieces).

Measure the widest point of your recliner, including the arms, and the tallest point from the floor to the top of the back. If your chair falls inside the ranges above, this set is built for it. If it sits outside them, the knit will be stretched too far or will look loose.

Colors

Fourteen colors are available: Gray, Black, Light gray, Beige, Camel, Dark coffee, Matcha green, Navy, Pink, Ivory, Wine, Peacock blue, Yellow and White.

The neutral shades, such as Gray, Beige, Ivory and Dark coffee, blend with most rooms and hide everyday marks well. The stronger shades, such as Navy, Wine, Peacock blue and Matcha green, give a chair a clear accent. If you are covering a chair in a bright room, a lighter color keeps the space feeling open.

How to fit the cover

This cover comes in 4 separate pieces, and each one must be fitted one by one. Start with the backrest piece and work downward, then fit the seat, then the arms, then the footrest section. Pull each piece snug before you move to the next one.

Take your time with the first fitting. The knit stretches, so you can ease each piece over the chair and adjust the edges as you go. Once all four pieces are on, smooth the fabric with your hands and check that the seat area sits flat.

To remove the set, take the pieces off in reverse order. Fold them as you go so the next fitting is quicker.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle, then air dry. Do not bleach. Do not iron.

Wash the pieces together so the color stays even across the set. Air drying keeps the knit soft and helps the stretch last. If you need to store the set between uses, fold it flat in a dry place.
