The Silk Satin Pillow Cover

What it is

This is a single pillow cover made from 100% silk in a knit weave. The surface has a silky satin feel with a smooth sheen that catches light without looking shiny or stiff. Colors

Choose from eleven colors: Cherry pink, Champagne, Black, Green, Navy blue, Burgundy, Lavender, Gray, White, Teal and Silver. The satin sheen reads differently in each one. Black, Navy blue and Burgundy look deep and rich. Champagne, Silver and Gray stay quiet and neutral. Cherry pink, Lavender, Green and Teal bring a clear pop of color to a plain couch or a white bed.

How to use it

Slide the pillow into the cover and smooth the fabric from the center out to the corners. Give the cover a light shake to settle the silk, then pat the pillow into shape. On a couch, mix sizes for a layered look: a Standard in front, a Queen behind it. On a bed, match the cover to your pillow size for a clean line, or use a smaller size as an accent pillow.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle, then air dry. Turn the cover inside out before washing and use a mesh bag if you have one. Skip bleach and fabric softener. Air dry flat or hang it in the shade, then smooth it by hand while it is still slightly damp. A cool iron on the reverse side removes any creases. With simple care, the silk keeps its smooth sheen wash after wash.
