Padded and quilted
This cover is a soft, smooth polyester, quilted into plump, rounded squares over a thin layer of padding. The padding gives a dog a cushioned spot to lie on and adds a buffer between claws and upholstery. The edges are bound all the way around, so they don't fray where paws scrape as a dog climbs on and off.
The back is a soft non-slip fabric that grips the seat, so the cover stays where you put it. It works on fabric sofas and on smooth seats too.

Measure the depth of your seat and add about 6 in (15 cm) for the tuck at the back and the drape at the front: most seats take the 28 in (70 cm) width and deep seats take 35 in (90 cm). Then choose the length closest to your seat width, arm to arm.
Colors
Seven colors: Light Gray, Dark Gray, Slate, Navy, Sand, Aqua and Blush Pink. Light Gray and Sand look calm on a white or cream sofa. Dark Gray, Slate and Navy hide paw prints best and suit gray, blue and leather couches. Aqua and Blush Pink bring a bit of color to a plain room. The quilting catches the light, so each color shows soft highlights across the squares.
Fitting it
Lay the cover over the seat with the long side running from arm to arm. Push the back edge down between the seat and the back cushions, smooth it toward the front and let the rest fall over the front edge. For a whole sofa, add a second cover across the back cushions and a small one over each arm.
Washing and care
Shake the cover outside or run a lint roller over it to remove loose fur, then machine wash it cold on a gentle cycle. Skip bleach and fabric softener, which wear down the non-slip back. Hang it to dry or tumble dry on low.

Questions
Which size fits a standard 3-seat sofa?
Most 3-seat sofas take 28 x 71 in (70 x 180 cm). If your sofa measures more than about 75 in (190 cm) from arm to arm, choose 28 x 83 in (70 x 210 cm).
Will it stay in place when my dog jumps on?
The non-slip back grips the seat, and tucking the back edge down between the seat and the back cushions anchors it further. A cover that drapes over the front edge also stays put better.
Is it waterproof?
No, it isn't water-resistant, so a big spill can soak through. For accidents and wet paws, our Water-Resistant Sofa Protector is the better choice.
How do I get dog hair off it?
Run a lint roller or a damp rubber glove over it, or give it a good shake outside. Washing it cold on a gentle cycle takes care of the rest.
