The Teddy Faux Fur Pillow Cover

What it is

The Teddy Faux Fur Pillow Cover is a decorative throw pillow cover made from woven plush teddy faux fur, about 300 gsm, in polyester. The pile is a soft, fluffy sherpa with a nubby hand, so it feels cozy against a sofa, a chair or a bed. The fabric is woven rather than printed.

This is a cover only. One cover fits one cushion, and the insert is not included. Each pack holds 1 piece.

Sizes

The cover comes in three sizes. Pick the one that matches your insert.

Measure your insert before you order. A cover that is slightly smaller than the insert gives a fuller look, and the plush pile hides small gaps at the corners.

Colors

There are eleven colors: White, Beige, Coffee, Pink, Dark green, Navy blue, Blue, Light grey, Light blue, Brown, and Dark gray.

The lighter shades, such as White, Beige, Light grey and Light blue, keep a room bright and quiet. Coffee, Brown, Dark gray, Navy blue and Dark green add depth to a neutral sofa. Pink and Blue work as a single accent cushion on a plain chair or bench.

Because the pile catches light, each color reads a little softer in person than on a screen.

How to use it

The cover suits a sofa, an armchair, a window seat, a bed or a car seat. It works on its own as a single accent, or in a mix of two or three colors on the same couch.

To fit it, fold your insert in half, and push it into the cover one corner at a time. Pat the pile back into place. The teddy texture fluffs up again after a few minutes of handling.

For a layered look, pair a 20 x 20 in (50 x 50 cm) cover with a 12 x 20 in (30 x 50 cm) lumbar cover on the same seat. Keep the darker shades on the seat and the lighter ones at the back if you want the room to feel taller.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle. Then tumble dry low or air dry.

Shake the cover out after drying and smooth the pile with your hand. A soft brush brings the nap back up if it flattens with use.
