What it is and how it feels

The Fringe Edge Pillow Cover is a decorative cover for a throw pillow. It is woven from a polyester and cotton blend, so it has the soft hand of cotton with the everyday durability of polyester. The surface is a plain weave with a quiet, even texture that reads as solid color rather than pattern. The fringe runs along the edges and gives the cover a relaxed, finished look without adding bulk.

This is a cover only. One cover fits one pillow insert, and the insert is not included. If you already have a pillow at home that needs a new look, this is the piece that changes it.

Sizes

Three sizes are available. Check your insert before you choose, and measure across the middle of the pillow, not the diagonal.

The listed size is the cover size. A cover fits best when the insert is the same size or slightly fuller, so the pillow fills the corners and the fringe sits flat.

Colors

Three solid colors are available:

• Navy blue: deep and grounding, works well on light upholstery
• Light blue: soft and airy, pairs with white, gray and natural tones
• Light green: a quiet botanical shade that warms up neutral rooms

Because the weave is solid, each color stays calm in a room and mixes easily with patterned throws and other pillows. You can use one color across a sofa for a clean look, or mix two or three for a layered arrangement.

Where it works

This cover suits living room sofas, armchairs, reading nooks, benches and beds. The fringe edge gives it a casual feel that fits both modern and traditional rooms. Use a 12 x 20 in (30 x 50 cm) lumbar cover on a chair or bench where a square pillow would sit too tall. Use the 18 x 18 in (45 x 45 cm) or 20 x 20 in (50 x 50 cm) size on a couch or bed.

How to fit it

1. Fold your insert in half.
2. Slide the folded insert into the cover, then unfold it inside.
3. Work the corners of the insert into the corners of the cover.
4. Close the opening and shake the pillow to settle the fill.
5. Smooth the fringe so it hangs evenly along the edges.

If the cover looks loose, your insert is probably underfilled. A fuller insert gives a cleaner shape and keeps the fringe straight.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle, then line dry. Wash with similar colors and turn the cover inside out to protect the fringe. Do not wring it out hard. Line drying keeps the weave and the fringe in shape. A light press on a low setting is fine if needed.
