This is a stretch cover made for tub chairs. The fabric is knit polyester velvet at about 180 gsm, so it has a soft hand and a slight sheen that catches light without looking shiny. It pulls over the back, arms and seat as a single-piece cover, and the anti-slip backing helps it stay in place through daily use.
Velvet has a dense, cozy surface, which is why this cover suits fall and winter rooms. It adds warmth to a reading corner, a bedroom chair or a small accent chair near a window. The knit construction is what lets the cover follow the curves of a tub chair instead of hanging loose.
One cover fits one tub chair. It is not waterproof, so treat it as a soft furnishing cover rather than a spill barrier.
This cover is made for tub chairs, not wingback chairs or standard armchairs. Check your chair against the ranges below before you order.
| Measurement | Fits |
|---|---|
| Chair width | 26.3-28.7 in (66.8-72.8 cm) |
| Chair height | 23.5-27.5 in (59.6-69.8 cm) |
| Seat width | 17.5-21.5 in (44.5-54.6 cm) |
A tub chair has a rounded back that curves forward into the arms. That shape is what this cover is cut for. If your chair has a high straight back, wide square arms or a visible wooden frame, the fit will not be right.
Measure the widest point of your chair, the full height from floor to top of back, and the seat width between the arms. If your numbers sit inside the ranges, the stretch knit has enough give to settle in.
There are 14 colors to pick from:
Neutrals like taupe, dark grey and light grey blend into most living rooms. Burgundy, dark green and navy bring a deeper tone for fall and winter. Peacock blue, orange and pink work as a single accent in a quiet room. If you want the velvet sheen to show, darker colors read richer. Lighter colors keep the chair looking open and bright.
The anti-slip backing does most of the holding, but a neat tuck at the seat makes the biggest difference to how fitted it looks. Velvet can show hand marks, so a final pass with your palm in one direction gives an even finish.
If you have pets, keep claws trimmed and check the seat area now and then. The knit stretches, but sharp points can still pull a thread.
Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Wash it on its own or with similar soft items, and skip fabric softener if you want to keep the velvet surface as it came.
For small marks between washes, spot clean with a damp cloth and let the cover air dry. Velvet picks up lint, so a quick brush with your hand or a soft lint roller keeps it looking tidy.
Buying a second cover in another color is an easy way to change the chair with the season. One box contains one chair cover.
This cover is cut for tub chairs with a rounded back and low arms. It fits chairs 26.3-28.7 in (66.8-72.8 cm) wide and 23.5-27.5 in (59.6-69.8 cm) tall. A wingback chair has a different shape, so the fit will not be right.
Yes. The knit velvet has an anti-slip backing that helps hold it on the chair. Tucking the extra fabric into the seat gap gives the neatest, most secure fit.
Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry low. Wash it alone or with similar soft items to protect the velvet surface.
No. It is a soft velvet cover, not a waterproof protector. For everyday crumbs and dust it works well, but wipe up spills quickly.
