The Stretch Jacquard Office Chair Seat Cover

What it is and how it feels

This is a stretch seat cover made from a polyester and spandex jacquard knit. The fabric has a woven pattern worked into the knit, so the surface has a quiet texture instead of a flat, plain finish. It is soft to the touch and breathable, which keeps the seat comfortable through a full workday.

The knit stretches in every direction, so the cover pulls over the seat and holds its shape without slipping loose. It is a simple way to refresh an office chair, computer chair or armchair seat and to protect the cushion underneath from daily wear.

Sizes and fit

The cover is made for square and slightly rounded chair seats. It fits seats from 15.8 to 18.9 in (40 to 48 cm) wide and deep, with a seat depth of up to 18.9 in (48 cm).

Measure your seat across the widest point and from the front edge to the back before you order. If your seat falls inside the range, the stretch knit will take up the difference. One cover fits one chair seat only. The chair back and base are not included, so this cover is for the seat cushion alone.

Colors

Choose from twelve colors: Black, White, Wine red, Light grey, Blue, Navy, Light green, Beige, Dark grey, Coffee, Camel and Cream.

The range covers both ends of the room. Black, Navy, Dark grey and Coffee read calm and professional in a home office. White, Cream, Beige and Light grey keep things bright and open. Wine red, Blue, Light green and Camel add a warmer note without taking over the space. Pick one that matches your desk chair, or use a different color on each seat to tell them apart.

How to put it on

1. Stretch the cover over the front edge of the seat first.
2. Pull it back across the seat and over the rear edge.
3. Tuck the elastic edge under the seat so the knit sits smooth and flat.
4. Smooth out any folds with your hands.

The stretch knit does the rest. It grips the cushion and stays in place as you sit, stand and shift through the day. No tools and no ties are needed. If you move the cover between chairs, it comes off just as easily and can go back on in under a minute.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle. Hang to dry. The breathable knit is washable, so you can keep it fresh with regular laundry instead of replacing it. Wash it on its own or with similar colors, and skip the dryer to protect the stretch and the jacquard pattern.
