A single cover for the whole sofa
This is the classic sofa protector: a quilted cover shaped like a cross, with a panel for the seat, a panel that runs up the back and a flap for each arm. It goes on in a minute and covers every part of the sofa a dog lies on, leans on or climbs over.
It's two layers of soft faux suede quilted around a thin foam core, with a water-resistant finish on the face, so drips, wet paws and drool bead up long enough to wipe off. It isn't a sealed, fully waterproof barrier, so a large spill left to sit can still work through, but for everyday mess it keeps the upholstery underneath clean and dry. The cover is reversible, with a contrasting light color on the other side.
An elastic strap goes around the back and the seat cushions to hold the protector in place, and you can tuck the edges into the gaps around the seat for a neater fit.

Measure the seat of your chair or sofa from arm to arm and pick the size whose seat width is closest. The arm flaps are 22 in (56 cm) wide, and the front drops about 14 in (35 cm) over the edge of the seat.
Colors
Nine colors: Gray, Black, Chocolate, Tan, Sand, Ivory, Navy, Teal and Aqua. Gray, Black and Chocolate hide paw prints and suit dark or leather sofas. Tan, Sand and Ivory work on light upholstery. Navy, Teal and Aqua add color. Each one has a light, neutral reverse side.
Washing and care
Shake off loose fur, then machine wash cold on a gentle cycle on its own. Skip bleach and fabric softener, which wear down the water-resistant finish. Hang it to dry or tumble dry on low, and don't iron it.

Is it fully waterproof?
It's water-resistant: spills, wet paws and drool bead on the surface long enough to wipe away. A large spill left to sit can work through, so blot accidents promptly.
Which size do I need?
Measure your seat from arm to arm. A seat around 21 in (53 cm) takes the chair size, around 46 in (117 cm) the loveseat size, and around 66 in (168 cm) the sofa size.
How does it stay in place?
An elastic strap runs around the back and the seat cushions, and the edges tuck into the gaps around the seat. That keeps it from sliding when a dog jumps on and off.
Can I wash it in the machine?
