This throw is woven from cotton that's dyed as yarn, in a palette of warm browns, olive, plum and soft grays. Four layers of gauze are woven together, so the surface has a gentle puckered texture that looks relaxed draped over a sofa or folded on the end of a bed. The edges finish in a short, soft fringe, which gives it a hand-made feel and frames the throw when it hangs over a sofa arm.
Four layers make it a little lighter than our six-layer gauze throws. It's a throw for spring and fall evenings, for warm rooms in winter and for summer nights when you want something over you without the heat.

| 51 x 67 in (130 x 170 cm) | One person on the sofa with room to tuck in, or the foot of a full or queen bed |
The standard US throw is 50 x 60 in (127 x 152 cm). This one is about the same width and seven inches (18 cm) longer, so it covers your feet when you sit with your legs out and drapes well over the back of a 3-seat sofa.
Six colors: Ivory, Olive, Chocolate, Plum, Slate and Charcoal. Ivory suits a dark or leather sofa, and Chocolate and Olive look at home on cream, oatmeal or gray upholstery. Plum is the richest of the six, a muted wine brown that works well in fall. Slate and Charcoal are the practical picks for homes with pets, since they hide hair and everyday wear.
Fold it in half and lay it over the back of the sofa so the fringe hangs down one side, or leave it in a loose pile on a chair. On a bed it adds a layer of color and texture across the foot. The earthy palette also mixes well with wood, rattan and linen, so it suits farmhouse, boho and Scandinavian rooms alike.
Machine wash it cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors; a large mesh laundry bag keeps the fringe neat. Tumble dry on low or line dry, then smooth the fringe with your fingers. Like most cotton, it can shrink a little in a hot wash or a hot dryer. It doesn't need ironing, and the gauze gets softer each time you wash it.
One throw in the color you choose. Delivery is $6.95, free on orders from $49, and you have 30 days to send it back unwashed if it isn't right for you.
It's 51 x 67 in (130 x 170 cm), about the width of a standard 50 x 60 in throw and seven inches (18 cm) longer. That's enough to tuck in on the sofa or lay across the foot of a full or queen bed.
Wash it cold on a gentle cycle inside a large mesh laundry bag, then smooth the fringe with your fingers while it's still damp. Tumble dry on low or hang it up to dry.
It's a light throw. Four layers of cotton gauze take the chill off while letting heat escape, so it's best for spring and fall evenings, warm rooms and summer nights.
Like most cotton, it can shrink slightly in a hot wash or a hot dryer. Wash it cold and dry it on low or on the line, and it stays close to its size.
