The Plush Velvet Sectional Cushion Cover

What this cover is

This is a single cushion cover made for sectional and L-shaped couches. The fabric is a plush velvet knit at about 200 gsm. It feels soft to the touch and has a slight sheen that catches light without looking shiny. The knit stretches, so the cover pulls over a cushion and stays close to the shape.

One order includes one cover. It is not a full couch set. If your sectional has several cushions, order one cover for each cushion you want to cover.

Sizes

Measure each cushion before you order. Length is the long side of the cushion. The size names below match the options at checkout.

If a cushion sits between two sizes, choose the larger one. The stretch knit works best when it has a little room to pull over the corners.

Colors

There are 21 colors: Beige gray, Gray, Royal blue, Wine red, Brown, Milky white, Gold, Pink, Dark green, Turquoise blue, Beige, Black, Camel, Dark gray, Light gray, Navy, Orange, Peacock blue, Purple, Sky blue and Yellow.

Neutral shades like Beige gray, Camel and Light gray blend with most rooms. Deeper shades like Navy, Wine red and Dark green add weight to a light couch. Bright shades like Orange, Pink and Turquoise blue give a plain sectional a clear accent. You can cover every cushion in one color or mix a few colors across the couch.

How to fit it

1. Measure the cushion you want to cover, arm to arm or along the long side, and pick the matching size.
2. Slip the cover over one corner of the cushion first, then work it over the other corners.
3. Smooth the fabric from the center out toward the edges.
4. Tuck any extra fabric into the gap between the seat and the back or arms of the couch.

The velvet knit holds its shape once it is on, and the stretch helps it follow the curves of a sectional or an L-shaped corner. For an L-shaped chaise, use the L-shaped chaise cover size. For a back cushion, use the back cushion cover size.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle. Air dry. Do not wring the fabric hard, and keep it out of direct sun while it dries. A light shake after washing helps the plush pile settle. Wash covers of different colors separately the first time.

Good to know

One cover fits one cushion. This is a single-piece cover, not a set. Measure each cushion before ordering, because cushions on the same couch can differ in size. The fabric is not waterproof, so it is best for indoor living rooms, offices and similar spaces. It suits L-shaped sofas, modular sofas, loveseats and accent chairs.
