The Wingback Velvet Slipcover Set

What this set is

This is a two piece slipcover set for a wingback chair. One cover pulls over the chair body, arms and back. The other covers the seat cushion. Both are made of stretch polyester velvet, about 180 gsm, with a soft hand and a slight sheen. The fabric is 100 percent polyester. The set is made to fit one wingback chair.

Sizes and fit

Each set fits wingback chairs within these ranges:

Measure your chair before you order. The stretch fabric follows the shape of the chair, including the wings and the rolled arms. If your chair is outside these ranges, the cover may not sit smoothly.

Colors

Choose from 15 colors: Beige, Orange, Pink, Teal, Dusty blue, Yellow, Navy blue, Brown, Blue, Light gray, Burgundy, Dark gray, Dark green, White and Tan. The plain dyed finish keeps the focus on the velvet texture. A neutral like Light gray or Tan blends with most rooms. A deeper tone like Burgundy or Dark green adds contrast.

How to put it on

Start with the chair body cover. Slip it over the back first, then work it down over the wings and arms. Pull the fabric gently so it sits even on both sides. Tuck any extra fabric into the gaps between the arms and the seat. Next, fit the seat cushion cover over the cushion and press it into place. The stretch velvet holds its shape once it is smoothed down. Take your time and adjust in small steps for a neat result.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Wash the two pieces together so the color stays consistent. Do not bleach. Smooth the covers by hand after drying to keep the velvet looking fresh.

One set fits one wingback chair. Each pack contains 2 pieces: 1 chair cover and 1 seat cushion cover. The fabric is plain dyed with no print. The velvet has a slight sheen that catches light softly.
