This cover is a smooth, silky stretch knit treated with a water-repellent finish. A splash of water, juice or coffee sits on the surface as droplets for a few minutes, long enough to blot it with a towel before it reaches the cushion. It's a finish rather than a sealed layer, so it slows spills down rather than stopping them for good: blot promptly and don't leave a wet glass standing on it. The polyester knit has good stretch, and an elastic band closes it under the cushion.
That makes it a sensible cover for a couch that sees snacks, drinks and pets. The tight, slick surface doesn't hold onto fur the way a textured weave does, and the whole cover goes in the washing machine.
Measure the cushion's length across the front, its depth from front to back and its height. Standard sizes fit cushions 20 to 24 in (50 to 60 cm) deep, and the Deep sizes fit cushions 24 to 31 in (60 to 80 cm) deep. Every size takes cushions 2 to 8 in (5 to 20 cm) tall.

The Extra long size covers a single bench cushion 87 to 94 in (220 to 240 cm) long, as found on large 4-seat sofas. The chart in the photos calls the deep sizes Plus and the Extra long size 2XL.
Pick from Gray, Silver Gray, Black, White, Ivory, Cream, Coffee, Dusty Blue and Wine Red. The silky surface has a soft sheen, so each color looks a shade lighter where the light hits the top of the cushion.
Pull the cover over the front corners first, then stretch it over the back corners and let the elastic close underneath. Smooth the top from the middle outward. Because the knit is slippery, tuck any spare fabric under the cushion so the top stays flat.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, without bleach or fabric softener, and air dry. Softener and high heat wear down the water-repellent finish, so skip both. After many washes spills soak in sooner, and the cover still works as a washable seat cover.
One cover in your chosen size and color, so order one for each cushion. Delivery is $6.95, free on orders from $49, and you have 30 days to send it back if the fit isn't right.
No. It has a water-repellent finish, so spills bead up for a few minutes and can be blotted before they soak through. A large spill left standing will reach the cushion, and the finish wears down gradually with washing.
Yes. The smooth, tight knit doesn't hold onto fur the way a textured weave does, muddy paw marks wipe off while they're fresh, and the whole cover goes in the washing machine. It isn't scratch-proof, so claws can still snag it.
A single bench cushion 87 to 94 in (220 to 240 cm) long, as found on large 4-seat sofas. If your couch has separate cushions, measure each one and order a cover per cushion instead.
Wash it cold on a gentle cycle and let it air dry. Fabric softener coats the fibers and high heat breaks the finish down, so leave both out.
