What this seat cover is

The Tree Jacquard Chenille Seat Cover is a rectangular seat cover made from polyester chenille jacquard with woven tatting. The chenille gives it a soft hand, and the jacquard weave builds a raised tree pattern across the surface with a light sheen that shifts as the light moves.

It is a seat cover, not a full slipcover. It lays across the seat area of your couch, loveseat, accent chair or modular sofa, and the anti-slip backing helps hold it in place. It is not waterproof, and the backing grips best on smooth surfaces such as leather, faux leather and tight woven upholstery.

Sizes

This cover comes in two width families, 27 in (70 cm) and 35 in (90 cm), with several lengths in each. Measure your seat from arm to arm or side to side, then pick the size that covers the area you want to protect. The listed fit range is 28 to 94 in (70 to 240 cm) wide, arm to arm, depending on size.

A 27 in (70 cm) wide cover suits a narrow seat, an accent chair or one section of a modular sofa. A 35 in (90 cm) wide cover suits a deeper or wider seat. If your seat sits between two sizes, size up for more coverage and a little overhang at the edges.

Colors

Five colors are available: Light grey, Green, Blue, Orange and Grey. Light grey and Grey are quiet neutrals that blend with most rooms. Green, Blue and Orange add a defined color block to the seat and work well when you want the cover to read as part of the room rather than disappear into it.

The woven tree pattern is the same across every color. On the lighter shades it reads as a soft texture. On the deeper shades the pattern stands out more.

How to fit and use it

1. Measure the seat area you want to cover, side to side and front to back.
2. Pick the closest size from the table above.
3. Smooth the seat surface and clear off crumbs or grit so the backing can grip.
4. Lay the cover over the seat and press it down from the center outward.
5. Tuck any overhang into the gap between the seat and the back or arms.

The anti-slip backing works best on smooth surfaces. On loose cushions, deep tufting or heavy texture, expect to straighten the cover now and then, especially after sitting. It is not waterproof, so blot spills promptly rather than letting liquid sit on the fabric.

Use it on a standard sofa, a loveseat, an L-shaped sectional, a modular sofa or an accent chair. It is a simple way to refresh a seat, soften a worn spot or protect upholstery in a busy room.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or line dry. Wash with like colors and avoid overloading the machine so the weave keeps its shape. A quick shake before drying helps the chenille pile settle evenly.
